Reflection on our 2023/24 Season
As we finish one season and head into a new one, I can only say that our past competition season with this group of dancers was outstanding. As a studio and as a dance family, every year we reflect and look back to ensure we are providing these kids with everything they need to be successful, whether as young adults, dancers, or in any other paths they choose.
Last season, spanning seven events and four conventions, these dancers rocked each and every event with their team spirit, professionalism, work ethic, and pure love for each other! As a studio, we could not have been more proud and excited for all the recognition and positive feedback we received from teachers and judges across the country. We were told that we are doing the right thing, that we are relevant, and that these dancers are all headed in the right direction. The best compliment we received numerous times throughout the season was that we are so different! Different is what we strive to be always. Everyone wants to be the best; we just want to be different in a great way.
So, cheers to our 2024 senior team, of whom four will be on their way to start the next journey of their lives. We love you all deeply, and you will be so missed. ❤️❤️😢
We are truly excited to start our 24/25 season with the rest of our amazing dancers!

Our Philosophy

The philosophy of the Turning Pointe is to provide excellent professional training to serious and recreational students alike. Our goal is to address the needs of the dance and performing arts community by providing quality education that is equally grounded in tradition as it is in innovation. The faculty strives to provide a warm and friendly atmosphere while guiding students through the rigors of dance training. It is our belief that dance training is a valuable discipline that carries over into every facet of life. Serious dance training is a discipline that demands the best of oneself while it improves self-control, heightens self esteem and increases organizational skills leading to academic success. This type of progress is best realized in a professional environment.

Our Focus

Individual attention and analysis of a student’s abilities and progress by an experienced, professional teacher are very important factors in the proper training and success of any dancer; This is reflected in the fact that all classes are taught by qualified adult staff members. We are devoted to excellence and uncompromising dedication to the ideal of quality in performing art education whether your child is interested in dancing recreationally or interested in taking their training to the next level and becoming a member· of our competitive teams.

The Turning Pointe. alumni have gone on to perform, act, create, choreograph, produce, and direct in Los Angeles, Hollywood, New York, Las Vegas, and more.
